Buildings Magazine Names Tate® Access Floors to List of Top Money-Saving Products and Services
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
JESSUP, MD, October 2008
Buildings magazine recently selected Tate® raised access floors as one of the year’s top money-saving products. In recognition of this achievement, Tate products will be featured in the publication’s June 2010 Top Product Picks issue.
The Buildings magazine editorial staff reviewed hundreds of products and services and selected 71 that save money in terms of enhanced productivity, reduced utility bills, time savings, product longevity, etc. The 71 that were selected were among the most intriguing and innovative products and services available to help commercial building owners and facility managers in their development, construction, modernization, management and operations responsibilities.
“We’re quite pleased to be included in this elite list of products and services,” said Scott Alwine, marketing manager at Tate. “It’s always nice when experts in the building industry recognize the important benefits that Tate raised access floors bring to a project – things like increased energy & material efficiency, flexible wire and cable management, improved indoor air quality, increased daylighting and improved occupant comfort, which work together to reduce operating costs, the costs associated with churn and employee absenteeism while increasing productivity and ultimately, saving money.”
